조직 행동과 사회 행동 분야에서 개인의 유연성을 연구하고 있다. 예를 들어, 개인의 성격, 가치, 동기,그리고 리더십의 유연성이 갖는 효과를 경험적으로 연구하고 있다. 이 연구들의 공통점은 개인의 여러 특성이나 역량이 단순에서 복잡으로, 그리고 경직에서 유연으로 발달하는 과정에 근본적인 관심을 두고 있다. 또 다른 연구분야는 산업 장면에서 안전 문화와 안전 행동을 경험적으로 연구하고 있으며, 한국 안전 보건 공단에 기업 조직에 활용될 수 있는 진단도구와 코칭 프로그램을 개발하여 탑재하고 있다. 많은 기업들이 이 도구를 활용하고 있으며, 이 과정에서 얻어진 자료를 기반으로 여러 연구가 진행되고 있다.  

I am studying individual flexibility in the fields organizational and social behavior. For example, I am empirically researching the effects of an individual's personality, value, motivation, and leadership flexibility. The common thread among these studies is a fundamental interest in the process by which various individual characteristics or competencies develop from simple to complex and from rigid to flexible. Another area of research involves empirically studying safety culture and safety behavior in industrial settings. We are developing diagnostic tools and coaching programs for Korean Safety and Health Agency that can be utilized by companies. Many companies are utilizing these tools, and various studies are being conducted based on the data obtained from this process.
